Read our Ecodesign Manifesto

We have already chosen the path, Ecodesign!

We are engaged with a sustainable future, there is no other way.

Natural resources are limited, we only have one world to live in and it is up to us to take care of it!

As a company in the retail business, we have the will and the obligation to provide a set of Ecodesign solutions. Our commitment is to have a positive and responsible environmental impact.

Did you know that:

  • Recycling a single 330 ml aluminum drink can save enough energy to power a TV for over 3 hours;
  • Around 16,000 liters of water is consumed to make just 1 kg of beef;
  • It takes around 2,700 liters of water to make a single cotton t-shirt;
  • Environmental sustainability facts show that enough plastic is thrown away each year to circle the earth four times.

There are many reasons why we want to change our production habits and daily habits, but the major goal is to reduce the amount of waste produced, emissions of polluting gases into the atmosphere and energy consumption.

However, we can also name:

  • Excessive production of Chemical waste,
  • High Co2 emissions,
  • Excessive water consumption,
  • Depletion of natural resources.

In our sustainability strategy for the future, we intend to exclude products like Duratrans and PVC from our production, as these are raw materials that are very harmful to environment and population.

We have already adopted the following strategies to reduce the environmental footprint:

  • Direct printing on certified materials, with eco solvent ink;
  • Use of cardboard and canvas;
  • We developed a recycling project "Spot Sustainable '' with the collection of materials at the point of sale and subsequent separation and recycling;
  • We design our products with parts that can be exchanged in the event of a defect, to avoid full replacement;
  • We improved our packing department, opting for materials that can be reused or recycled;
  • We organized our project and production line, optimized the process to reduce our waste of materials and resources.

In our infrastructure, we promote a sustainable development in our daily life with good practices such as:

  • We ban plastic cups and provide all our employees with reusable water bottles;
  • We provide cotton bags to transport lunches;
  • We incorporate several recycling bins;
  • We promote the use of digital tools, eliminating hundreds of project sheet printouts;
  • We use paper from recycling in our photocopiers, and reuse paper whenever possible.

We have our eyes on future generations and for that cause, the weight and responsibility of caring for the well-being of the planet.

As long as we can improve the sustainability of our production, we will ensure that it is a fundamental process in our strategy.

In the future we are committed to considering the following points:

  • Choice of less polluting, non-toxic, and produced or recycled materials;
  • Use of energy-efficient manufacturing processes;
  • Production of more durable products, to avoid the creation of waste;
  • Investing in the circular economy, that is, producing objects from the reuse or reutilization of others.

If you share this concern, let's take this walk side by side!

See you there!
